Kickstarter Fizzle
Well, my attempt at funding my Kindle collection of short horror fiction through Kickstarter was a bust. I still plan on self-publishing the anthology, "Ten Little Terrors" through Amazon Kindle, but it will take some time to come up with the funds. My main concern is having the stories professionally proofread and edited. I'm working on re-writes right now. Hopefully, I'll be able to move forward with the project sometime in October of this year.

Nice trailer, Tim. It's me, KG Arndell. I just dropped by to let you know I changed my blog's URL because I'm using the pen name (or as my friend calls it, alias) Nathann Kane. I don't think we're Twitter or FB friends (yet) so I had to leave the message here. I don't normally drop links but I didn't want to leave you with a dead link on your site. So here's the new link to my blog, if you're interested. Cheers! http://nathannkane.com/
ReplyDeleteHey! I'll change the link. I'll probably be doing the same thing, soon.
DeleteAs far a Facebook, I used to be on there, but I found it really annoying (I have a low annoying tolerence). Haven't fathomed a use for Twitter, either, although I'll probably be pulled into the twenty-first century (surely kicking and screaming) some time!
If you switch to a pen name, let me know so I don't lose track of you.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about Facebook. It can be annoying. I just try to block the b.s. I actually found Twitter much more useful once I got the hang of it. I just try to use it in moderation and not bludgeon people with constant tweets.
Rather than a pen name, I'm considering just using my first two initials and last name. Also, I'm going to drop using "Helvetica," a handle I used on writing critique forums. The writing critique forums I used to haunt have become stagnant, and I think I've out grown their usefullness, anyway.
DeleteI'll let you know when and what I decide to do. Someday I'm sure I'll set up a different blog.
